One of the most rewarding days to bike - for all skill levels - is the annual Bike to Work Day celebration on Friday, May 17th. Join the Northend Greenway, Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition and hundreds of your neighbors who will be biking to work on this great day!  To make your ride more enjoyable, organizers are hosting: Bike From Work Party downtown -Friday May 17th, 4-6 pm, Clementine Café Patio (Where we had it last time, and it was AWESOME.) Local bike repair shops will help get your bicycle in shape at a 10% off discount leading up to the big day (to be confirmed -- stay tuned for more info). And there's more! Friendly competition between workplaces with awards for greatest participation, mileage, etc. Route-mapping and commuting assistance, provided by experienced commuters.
